Happy New Year

Dear members of Concordia Lutheran Church,

Our Lord’s many blessing to you as we begin a New Year 2026. Life keeps us guessing as we anticipate what another year will hold for us. We do know that God has chosen us out of the world to be his own leading us in present age and finally into the eternal age. In this world we are surrounded by many dangers and

exposed to temptation. Yet we look to the redeeming work of God in his beloved son Jesus. His life, death and resurrection make everything NEW. In him you have the victory over the world.

Our worship in January brings us to the season of Epiphany. We see how the light of Christ’s earthly ministry and incarnate life shines into our dark world. Be reminded of how Christ lights your way into the New Year. Below is an acronym I ran across describing our new life in Jesus.

H old fast to your faith (Hebrews 4:14)
